combined-csa-checkoutOne sign-up, one invoice for every plan a member wantsOctober 23, 2026SubscriptionsNew members can pick their share and every add-on in one sign-up, and pay for it all on a single invoice.Your members see it on your CSA signup pageTim Van WagnerCollaborative CSANevada City, CAtim-van-wagner Checkout with two plans on one invoice, a single pickup fee, and Pay over time checked

Checkout with two plans on one invoice, a single pickup fee, and Pay over time checked

Until now, joining more than one plan meant going through sign-up once for every plan, with a separate invoice each time. Someone who wanted a veggie share, eggs, and flowers went through it three times, and some gave up partway.

Now it's one sign-up. New members choose their share size, frequency, payment plan, and pickup or delivery all on one page. If their spot is full, they can join its waitlist right there.

Personalize step with share size, frequency, payment plan and pickup choice

Next, every add-on that fits their share shows up as a card they can tick, with an Edit button to adjust size, frequency, or pickup. Add-ons that don't fit their pickup or schedule move to the bottom, marked unavailable with the reason and a link to change it.

Add-ons step with one add-on ticked and another marked unavailable with a Change pickup link

At checkout, the whole order is on one invoice with a single pickup or delivery fee, no matter how many plans they pick up together. When the order qualifies, members can choose to pay over time in equal monthly payments.

If something sells out in the moment before they pay, nothing is charged. They're sent back with just that item flagged, and can continue without it or join its waitlist.

Add-on marked sold out with Join waitlist and Remove, and a note that nothing was charged

Afterward, a confirmation page recaps their first pickup, when each plan is paid through, anything they're waiting on, and what they paid today. "How'd you hear about us?" is asked just once.

Confirmation page with first pickup, a paid-through date, a waitlisted add-on at no charge, and the How'd you hear about us survey

Behind the scenes, plans can now be grouped into seasons, which decide which add-ons are offered together, and each plan can be sold on its own, offered as an add-on, or both. Contact the Farmhand support team to set up seasons for your farm.

Built with Tim at Collaborative CSA and farms like Spiritual Food, Still Life, and Stillman's, who wanted new members to sign up for everything at once instead of starting over for every share.
