Herdshare members can change their share size for their next renewal, but until now those changes weren't billed or documented the way a change made by your team was. Members whose subscriptions were created with deferred payment also had no invoice to charge their buy-in on.
Now, when a member adds shares for their next renewal, that renewal invoice includes the herd share purchase and jar fees for the added shares. Once it's paid, they get a bill of sale marked "Share increase." Dropping shares charges nothing and issues a $0 bill of sale. Members whose subscriptions were created with deferred payment are charged their buy-in on their first invoice, with a bill of sale once it's paid.
Before confirming a change, the Edit plan screen shows exactly which fees the renewal will carry and links to your herdshare agreement, which they accept by scheduling the change. Every change records who accepted the agreement: the member, or the staff member acting for them.
Built with Mark at Raw Milk Oregon, who needed every share his members add at renewal charged correctly and backed by a bill of sale.
