Who’s behind Grapevine

Sarah Highlen

Sarah spent 17 years in marketing and website development before she started Grapevine in 2016, working with consumer brands, nonprofits, government agencies and service businesses.

I was inspired to start a farm marketing agency after helping a farmer friend with her marketing and watching her sales triple.

Grapevine is now a team of six that has worked with more than 100 farms, food businesses and food system groups across the U.S. and Canada, on everything from websites and email to ads, SEO and social media. Sarah was a founding member and the first president of the NWI Food Council.

She and her partner Jeffrey are digital nomads with a base camp in Grand Junction, Colorado, where they keep a tiny camper. Wherever they land, they buy as much of their food as they can straight from the farmer.
