Choose how you sell. We run the rest.
Local farms don’t need another tool. What you need is a Farmhand.
CSA, herdshare, food hub, farm store, farm events — sold off one catalog, packed off one list, billed on one login. Plus done-for-you marketing, 1:1 coaching, and real humans answering your members seven days a week.
When something changes, you text it.

How do your customers get their food?
Members join on mobile and skip their own weeks.
Any share model — fixed box, customizable, market-style, hybrid — with skips and holds members handle themselves.
- Branded website + mobile signup
- Multi-driver routing, proof of delivery
- Done-for-you newsletters, flyers, and flash sales
- SNAP/EBT, cash, check, and card
Members sign. Jars come back. Payments clear.
Herdshare agreements, deposits, drop sites, add-ons, and the dry weeks — handled, so your morning starts at the barn.
- Compliance-friendly agreements with e-signature
- Jar and bottle deposits, automated
- ACH, card, cash, and check
- 50+ drop sites on one dashboard
Restaurants and stores order themselves.
The same stock sold to a chef, a co-op, and the neighbor who walks up — at three different prices, off one count.
- Retail and wholesale pricing off one inventory
- Sell by weight, by the case, or by the item
- Cash, check, ACH, credit, and SNAP/EBT
- Pre-orders for what isn’t ready yet
Forty growers fill one harvest list and route.
Every grower’s catalog, every buyer type, every route in one place — retail, wholesale, EBT, and member boxes off one inventory.
- Products, variants, and units per producer
- Order cutoffs built for buying, not harvesting
- Capacity caps and waitlists per site
- Subsidized and sliding-scale shares
Every car down the driveway leaves a name.
Pumpkin patches, pizza nights, u-picks, farm dinners. Timed entry, family tiers, one-tap rain-out reschedules.
- Arrival windows with a cap on each
- QR check-in and your own guest list
- Add-ons sold before they get in the car
- 7% only when a ticket sells — or pass it on
How it actually works
“Hey farmhand,
can you…”
Every farm on this page has the same number in their phone. They text what they need, a person on our team does it, and texts back when it’s live.
One week, one thread — and it moves between all four operations without you switching anything.
Seven days a week. On every plan.
Everything Farmhand runs
Five jobs. One login.
Marketing
Shares don’t sell themselves in February.
- A website that does the selling. Your fields, your practices, your pickup days — in your language and branding, with a mobile-first shop and a three-step signup.
- A newsletter that handles the retention. What’s in the box, what the weather did, a recipe pulled from this week’s harvest list. We draft it, you approve it.
- Flash sales and SMS for the surplus. Forty pints of cherry tomatoes, a heavy pepper week, a share someone gave back. Members reply to buy and it lands in their next box.
- Waitlists that show you the demand. Keep collecting names past capacity, so you know where to open the next site before you open it.
- Print for the places the internet doesn’t reach. Flyers, porch signs, wallet cards and market table cards, designed and sent to you.
- Ads that run on your farm’s name, not ours. Meta, Instagram and Nextdoor, managed for you and pointed at your own signup page.

Billing
Every rhythm a farm actually bills on.
- Season upfront, monthly plan, or per delivery
- Failed cards retried, members messaged for you
- SNAP/EBT online and at the market table
- Jar and bottle deposits tracked per member
- Sliding-scale and subsidized shares for hubs
- Account credit instead of refunds
Fulfillment
One pack list. Every channel on it.
- A harvest report before you pick
- Packing labels per member, in route order
- Multi-driver routing on the driver’s phone
- Proof-of-delivery photos
- Pickup sites with caps and arrival windows
- QR check-in for events, off the same list
Member support
Your members text us. Not you.
- Seven days a week, by text and email, on every plan
- Skips, holds, and vacations handled end to end
- Card declines, address changes, and site swaps
- Real people who know your farm and your pickup sites
- Anything that needs you is forwarded directly to your centralized conversations feed
Coaching
A farmer on the phone, not a help doc.
- 1:1 calls on the actual problem — pricing, filling a site, the members who didn’t renew
- Calls with outside experts on Business Pro — like Megan Neubauer of Pure Land Farm on agritourism and pick-your-own
- Free farmer workshops, live, with farms running your model
- A weekly playbook written by a working farm
- Included. Not billed by the hour, not a separate package.
Hear it from the field
Farmers who made the switch have one regret: not doing it sooner.

Built with farmers
You ask. We build. You see it live.
Most farm software gets planned a year out, in a room where nobody has packed a box. Ours gets built on the phone, mid-season, with the farm that needed it — and it ships in weeks, not quarters.
Every one of these started as a farmer asking for it.
Making the switch
Setup is easier than you think.
Most farms are fully migrated in under two weeks, mid-season, without asking members to do anything.

With Ari — our founder, and a farmer. He’ll tell you straight whether we’re the partner you need. There is no sales team to hand you off to.
We handle the migration
Members, balances, payment methods, delivery sites, product list, and your site. You send us what you have, in whatever shape it’s in. Nobody has to re-sign or re-enter a card.
You’re live
Your branded site goes up, the first newsletter goes out, and your members get the number to text. From then on, so do you.

Questions
What farms ask before they switch.
Still got one? Text it to us, or bring it to the 15 minutes with Ari.
We run a CSA and a herdshare and we do events. Can one account really do all of it?+
Yes — that’s the whole point of building it this way. One catalog, one member list, one login. A member who has a vegetable share, a milk share, and two pizza night tickets is one person with one balance and one card on file, not three accounts in three systems. Most farms on Farmhand run at least two of the four.
What does it cost?+
I won’t invent pricing. What I can say from what’s already public: no contracts, no setup fees, and events are 7% only when a ticket sells (passable to the guest). Paste the plan starting price and a link to /pricing here, or tell me and I’ll write it.
Will I lose my member list or my history?+
No. We migrate members, balances, payment methods, delivery sites, and order history. And it stays yours — you can export the whole list any day you want, including the day you leave. We don’t sell food, so your list isn’t worth anything to us except as your list.
How long does the migration take, and can we do it mid-season?+
Usually under two weeks, and yes — most farms switch mid-season. Members don’t re-sign and don’t re-enter a card. Moe Acres was done in days.
Who actually answers my members when something goes wrong?+
We do — a real person, seven days a week, by text and email, on every plan. Skips, holds, card declines, address changes, “where’s my box.” Anything that genuinely needs you gets forwarded with the context already gathered.
Can we take SNAP/EBT?+
Yes, online and in person, alongside cash, check, and card. Hubs and co-ops can also run subsidized and sliding-scale shares priced per buyer type.
We need something you don’t have yet. Do you build it?+
Often, yes — and in weeks, not quarters. Online SNAP/EBT, multi-driver routing, proof-of-delivery photos, SMS flash sales, and auto-retry on failed payments all shipped this year, all from farmer conversations. See what shipped this month.
Can I talk to a farm already running on it?+
Every farm on this page is a working operation you can call. Tell us which model is closest to yours — CSA, herdshare, hub, or events — and we’ll put you in touch with one running it.
