Plenty of members would rather hand you a card at the market or read the number over the phone than set it up online themselves, and cash and check payers had to be set up behind the scenes. That's a real obstacle when you're trying to close a sale. Now there's an Add payment method button right on a customer's Payment page, using the same secure card form they'd see on their own account — card numbers go straight to our payment processor and are never stored by Farmhand. Cash/check shows up as an option if your farm takes offline payments.
Every saved method now has Set default and Remove too, laid out the same way the member sees them on their own account. Setting a new default retries any failed payments from the last two months against it. Removing the current default automatically promotes the most recently added method, and a confirmation always appears — with a warning when it's their last one. Clearing every card off a customer at a cash/check-enabled farm simply leaves them billing as an offline payer.
Two things to know: bank (ACH) isn't offered here, because connecting a bank account needs the member's own online-banking login. And you can manage any customer who belongs to your farm — a customer shared across multiple farms shows a banner pointing changes to Farmhand support.
