"Every four weeks" is not the same as "once a month." It drifts through the calendar, and over a year it quietly produces thirteen boxes instead of twelve. Farms on a real monthly rhythm have been living with that gap by hand — dragging each generated order onto the right date, month after month, and rebuilding blackout periods to keep one-off orders off the days they weren't open.

Farmhand now does calendar-monthly properly. A monthly share generates one order per calendar month, twelve a year, anchored to a week and a weekday: the 1st Tuesday, the 3rd Wednesday, the last Friday. A member's week is set when they sign up and stays put through skips, holds and renewals. Months where a weekday falls five times, February in a leap year, the clocks changing — all handled, so the box lands on the same week every month.

Your sites can be limited to the weeks you actually open. A pickup or delivery option can be restricted to particular weeks of the month — 1st through 4th, or last — so a farm stand you run on the first and third Tuesday only ever takes members anchored to those weeks. The setting now offers just the style that fits the site: the A/B rotation for a weekly site, weeks of the month for a monthly one, instead of a confusing mix of both.

Members see the real schedule rather than a vague "every month." A site that only serves monthly members says so while they are still choosing where to pick up, with the week it operates spelled out.

Once they have signed up, their subscription names the schedule in plain language — "Monthly on the last Monday" — beside their next order date and next invoice. The same wording now reads correctly everywhere your staff look: the subscriber list, the members report and the subscription panel. And the Plans report has a working Cadence column and filter on monthly farms, showing each member in their own terms — a week of the month for monthly members, an A/B week for every-other-week ones.

The occasional jobs work too. Changing which weeks a site operates no longer refuses until you have moved everyone by hand — the change goes through, anyone who no longer fits is rescheduled onto a week you still run, and a preview beforehand names exactly who moves and anyone who cannot be accommodated. Interval-change requests move members between weekly and monthly and apply at renewal. And a holiday blackout covering a monthly member's date moves that order to the same occurrence the following month — the 2nd Tuesday next month, not the next open week — leaving their cadence alone. Set the blackout before the order has generated and the month is simply skipped: no order, no charge, no prepaid credit spent.

Month to month, the everyday things behave. Skipping a box or adding an extra one works for the whole month before cutoff, instead of wrongly telling a member it is too late. Invoices and renewals fall on the right monthly date, prepaid box credits count down one per delivery, seasonal pricing prorates by the deliveries left in the season, and monthly add-ons arrive with the box. Behind all that, a farm whose shortest interval is monthly now gets one packing cycle per calendar month, so the box builder, harvest report and delivery planning run on the same rhythm you do.

One piece still to come: shifting a single upcoming order a week earlier or later is not available for monthly members yet — that dialog can only offer the week before or after, which does not mean much on a monthly schedule. Everything else here is live, and nothing at all changes for weekly or every-other-week members.
