Match your sign-out sheet to how you actually pack

The sign-out sheet and harvest report were built around one farm's packing process, and it turned out that process is unusual. If you run a customizable CSA and also sell subscription items in your shop, customizable boxes containing those items may not have been counted as you'd expect. Items inside a customizable box, and standalone retail orders, never rolled into the per-item totals either, which sent another farm on a second delivery trip over two sourdough loaves the sheet hadn't counted.
Those behaviors are now opt-in. Three independent settings let each farm match its own process, and all three are off by default — which is what most farms expect:
- Group customizable boxes by their subscription contents — off means each customizable order counts as exactly one Custom Box. On counts them as their subscription contents.
- Itemize customizable box contents — rolls box contents and standalone orders into the sheet's per-item totals, for farms that assemble boxes at the pickup site and need the counts.
- Names-only sign-out sheet — condenses the sheet to member names and their box name, hiding item detail to save paper when you pack complete labeled boxes at the farm.
Ask the Farmhand team to set these for your farm and we'll match your sheet to your pack line.
