Members could already skip a delivery by replying “skip” to the reminder they get before each order. Donating took more steps, and when donating is harder than skipping, few members do it. Now they can reply “donate” to that same reminder.
Once donations are on for your farm, the reminder invites a “donate” reply alongside “skip,” or on its own if your farm doesn’t allow skips.
A “donate” reply before the order cutoff donates that delivery, just like the Donate button on the member’s Orders page. The member gets the same confirmation and can undo it until the cutoff. Replies that arrive after the cutoff go to the Farmhand support team to handle.
If a member replies “donate” twice, or “skip” after donating, they get a reply explaining what already happened and how to undo it, so a delivery is never donated or skipped twice.
